OUR APPROACH

This foundation was born as an homage to mothers; to those who have sustained humanity across generations yet so often remain at the margins of society, particularly in the developing world. Middle-aged women are among the most overlooked demographics globally, despite bearing immense responsibility and quietly shaping economic outcomes everywhere. Women advocate powerfully for others while rarely advocating for themselves.
We also strongly believe that every individual has intrinsic worth regardless of their origin or views. We also hold that the suffering of animals is a moral concern deserving serious attention. These convictions have driven us to undertake and fund work that others may find unconventional. Choosing which problems to address has been the most consequential decision. We seek out causes that are neglected, yet vital, and where small efforts can make the greatest difference. We deliberately allocate resources across overlapping causes. Our strategy includes both immediate, evidence-based interventions that save lives today and opportunities that could take decades to pay off.

Deep-rooted social stigma, longstanding traditions, and the lack of accessibility hinder women’s health in many rural villages. In the near future, we hope to educate women about the early diagnosis of Sexually transmitted infections (STIs). To achieve meaningful milestones for this issue, we must first establish deep trust and confidentiality.
Since proximity and ongoing assessment of progress are critical to guiding decisions, we have anchored our initial projects to the ancestral villages of Velangi and Aragonda in Andhra Pradesh, India, places we know, can reach, and can hold ourselves accountable to. We expect our approach to evolve as we learn from those we serve, from peer philanthropists, and from the evidence before us. We commit to showing our reasoning, naming our assumptions, and changing course when the facts demand it.
